Once again I ask for your prayers

This afternoon I recieved a call from a woman I haven't seen in a while.
She was a good friend of my sister in law and her cousin and I had been very close
at one time but have lost touch the last years after she and
her husband broke up and she moved away.We used to call back and forth but we lived
in different states and our lives went in different directions.
They had been trying to get in touch with
me for months and finally ran into someone that gave my number.
Her cousin asked if I might call M because her 17 year old son had been
murdered.She asked that I go to a news site so I would understand.
The last time I saw this boy he was a toddler so cute playing in the
wading pool with my kids because they had come to visit.
Please won't you pray for the family. I can not begin to imagine what they are
going through. And pray for the one that did this awful thing that
they he/she will ask God's forgiveness and not hurt anyone else.
We have no promises in this life.. "But for the grace of God go I"

My Thoughts are with the Family and I am so sorry to hear this it is awful how many young People are being murdered lately
I have to admit I fear for my Children but I can't tell them not to go out
It is Scary

Oh, how sad. I cannot imagine this either. I hope that you have the resiliency to help this friend, and that it does not put you down again as well. We often forget to pray for the ones who hurt us, but that is where the freedom lies.

Wow! It is always hard to understand why someone would take another's life. It is very sad to reconnect with an old friend under these types of situations. I hope your friend finds comfort in you and your friendship.

Oh that is sad. I will include him in my prayers. Yes, you are right, I cannot imagine how it is for your friend right now. They say it is easier to lose a spouse than lose your own child. Traditionally, parents are supposed to die first. I hope they find out what really happened and may they find peace in their hearts. I also pray that Kyle will rest in peace and forgive whoever really did this to him.

That is just awful and I sure hate to hear it. I will keep you and their family in my prayers. I sure don't know what the world is coming to these days. It is so scary.

hi rayden gladly will I send my prayers to your friend and hope
that in time their pain will not be quite as bad. to have your teen aged son murdered just as he was starting out is really really so painful it must be beyond belief. I lost a child when she was eight, and I thought that was painful. this boy had a lot going for him too, this is just so tragic. whoever did this I will pray that they do ask God's forgiveness and not do this to another living person. thanks raydene for asking us. This is such a sad situation. It has to be devastating for this family to lose their son. I can't imagine anything worse than to lose a child. But there are so many people out there that don't think one thing about shooting another innocent person if they want what you have. It didn't say it might be robbery or anything, so I suppose they don't know the cause of the shooting or whether it was at home or outside the home. Anyway, it is a tragic thing. Will be praying that they find his killer soon and also for the family.
