can somebody please tell me which hand does wedding rings are usually worn? i thought it's meant to be placed on the right hand but i'm seeing a lot of people who are wearing their wedding rings on their left fingers. i'm getting married soon and i don't want to make the mistake of putting my would-be husband's ring on the wrong finger....please help!

The wedding rings are worn on the left hand ring finger, that's the finger next to the pinkie (smallest finger).

thanks for the detailed picture howard96h. i'm just confused between left and right hand....i believe i know exactly my finger's placement.

i read somewhere, i cant remember, that it goes to the left ring finger coz its direct to the heart.. i know it may be cheesy but that was the reason... =) but personally i do prefer the left ring finger..:D

yes, i think i'd prefer for my wedding ring to sit with my engagement ring on my left finger....i'm getting more convinced now. thank you.
