It depends, really. Mylot has never really given any specific information on how much you can make with your posts and discussions; everyone is just trying to figure that out on their own. It seems to vary, though you'll likely get more by having more people read your discussions and so on. I'm still trying to work out how it all works.

Earning depends upon the number of disussions and response you made.The content of response or discussion is also important.For an expample a person who made money from 10 posts may not be equal to the other person who made equal number of post. Moreover earning depends on both quality and quantity of the post you made.

For me I just try and give good responses and give out ones that are long and not always short because you won't get much for a short response that way you don't have to do as much that's how I see it at least. Still mylot is always fun and you know fun mixed with money is good for me. Yay mylot just totally love it and the people on here are always so nice. The people are the ones who mostly make up mylot.
