I'm 21 years old and mine hasn't so far. I wanted to be a school teacher when I was younger but now I'm a mum to a 4 month old. i didn't do year 11 maths in school either, so I would have to do that before I was even considered for a teaching degree.

I am 35 and my life has not turned out to be how I expected, I could still make something of myself but not as much as you still can. You are only 21 and you only have one child, you can still make your life turn out the way you want it. It just means that you have to work a little bit harder than anyone else maybe. Go for your dreams do not let the years slip by like I did and then end up regretting doing nothing!

First off, your only 21, how can you know if your life will turn out the way you wished, you could still become a teacher, if that's what you really want to do. Going back to school is possible, even with a child around. As for my life, I think it has turned out better at this point, although there has been some major mistakes, and major turns in my life that I didn't expect.... I am happy with where I am now in my life. And through it all I have learned from my mistakes and experiences. After 3 divorces, all for very different reasons, I have two wonderful daughters, that each have their own lives now and I'm proud of both of them. I have a great man in my life, that I respect and love and we are great friends too. And I work my dream job, went to work for the forestry service over a year ago. If anyone would have ever asked me if I'd be a firefighter in any aspect of it I would have told them no, that is until 9 years ago when I joined a volunteer fire dept, and received my training in wildland firefighting and found I loved it.

No my life has not turned out like I wanted it to at all. I did not want to be ill. I wanted a family - kids - and I wanted to travel and experience things. I never did want to spend years in my flat by myself. But there are good things about this life as well. Though I'd not wish for it if I had another go

Well mine has to some point. I wanted to go to high school so I did, I wanted to have good marks at school so I have. The only thing is university I have one more year to think about it but I think I can study whatever I want because my marks aren't bad. And I hope to study network administration.

Life doesnt offer us roses but there are thorns on it so does says a proverb or quote, I am not sure though if it is a quote or proverb ,LOL. Anyway, I believe on that, there are things we try to do and achieve and turn out different. There are things we wish we could make, yet we couldnt make it all, these are things or circumtance that is beyond our control. But if we have already get over it, we laugh and do correct mistakes, I think it is the beauty of it. Life is unpredictable and so does the future is. As for you jessieleepage, your desires are not too late yet, you can still achieve what you desired for.
