the right age to get married?

Is there really a specific age to get married? I have come across a lot of people telling me the age that they want to get married with matching reasons of course. They proved a point. However, I believe that getting married is not an issue about age, its about being mature enough to handle the responsibilities of building a family of your own. Being mature means regardless of how young or old a person is as long as he or she is capable of supporting the needs of the future family then I think that would be the right time to get married. As we all know marriage is not just a word, it is a lifetime commitment. The issue should therefore be how prepared you are to be committed.

to get married means to be responsible enough to support your own family. if you are an independent person and you think you can already support your wife and your future kids, you can already save for the future then go on. but if you can't even buy the things that you want and you know for a fact that your wife and future kids will suffer, then you're making a big mistake. marriage is not a trial and error thing that you can just undo if you feel that you can't handle it. have a good day lalaine:)

Marriage and being ready means different things for different people. Marriage doesn't mean "building a family" to me, just a legal commitment. I was already committed to and living with my husband before we got married.

Yeah, I'm 27 and getting married in August. I think its a great time to get married to except we've already got way to much crap on our own that we're trying to figure out how to not get people to give us wedding presents. We always except money but all the wedding present stuff is really good for people right out of college who don't have a matching thing in the house.
