do you believe that cats have 9 live ?

no. i don't believe that cats have nine lives. i already seen a lot of cats being killed in highways after being caught by cars passing by. they were pissed of, their heads broken and internal organs coming out of their bodies but i haven't seen anyone still alive LOL...

We all know that cats were believed to have nine lives since during the earlier times, there was a time when a cat was dropped from somewhere high, perhaps being observed on how they always end up landing on their feet. It was done repeatedly until after the 9th drop, the cat didn't land on its feet, probably due to exhaustion..

I really don't think they do. Ilost my cat he got hit by a car. I was really hoping he had another life, but nope he did not come back to life.

I grew up in the country so we had a lot of cats. Sadly enough, even though we lived on a road that wasn't busy, quite a few of them did get hit by cars. Ironically enough, one of them was named pancake. What a self defeating name, poor thing. We now live in the city and have 3 indoor cats, two at my parents house and one lives at my place with me. The oldest is 11 years now and the other two are 7 and 4 (my cat). The 11 year old cat has had quite a few close calls. She does go outdoors sometimes and has been chased by dogs (no claws), fallen down a sewer drain and disappeared for 3 weeks once. After the latter we didnt expect to see her again as we had just moved and figured she didn't know where she was when she got outside. Amazingly enough she somehow made it back to our old house (neighbors saw her) and then came back to the new house. Smart cat!

It is like saying pigs can fly; that would be false, because pigs can not fly.So telling people cats have nine lives is spreading the false story. Conclusion - Cats do not have nine lives.
