How would you feel to learn your life was only worth $20,000?

She had her husband murdered for she could collect $20,000 dollars? That isn't alot. I would understand it more if she was getting a million or so but a measely $20,000 isn't enough to live on a year in these days and times. Yeah the woman is sick if she could have her kid offed like that or like they are thinking she may have.I am sure they may be times we have thought wer could kill our husbands because of their thick skulls but nothing ever came of it but a thought in the heat of arguement. This woman took it to far if she wanted out of the marriage I am sure she could have unless she doesn't believe in divorce. But being 76 and having a husband killed...Just boggles the mind.

I agree. But, it is a sad fact of life that many people are sick and twisted. I can't imagine, but obviously this woman could imagine and could also do. Of course, then again, I've set up $250,000 insurance for my family incase of my untimely demise. Should I wonder, I wonder? :)

I would not mind seeing the article link. She sounds like a horrible person. Oh why did the other children survive? Did the relatives remove them before she could harm them? I heard that she had a daughter she did not kill, so I come to the conclusion with all the murders she did, not only was she a cold calculating greedy woman who wanted all the money, but a man hater as well. OOO I hope she gets the chair. She does not deserve to live.

yea that is messed up, but there are many people out in the world that do that same thing. what i really dont get about this one is why in the world did she kill him for only $20,000??!!! Did she not know how much he was worth or how much she would get for killing him or was she just desperate for the money that much. Really strange.
