When I was growing up we were a 'multi-pillow household', and we each had about three pillows on our beds! My sister and I had foam pillows as we were allergic to feathers. I can't believe we had that many now, they were like a big mountain! Now I find that if I have more than one I get a crick in my neck, so now I have more simple requirements and one foam pillow will do. Actually my pillow's made of memory foam, but I'm happy with any non-feather kind really.
Actually, when I was a student I lived with a family who didn't sleep on any pillows. As I'd come straight from my home where we had three pillows each, this was unbelievable to me, lol!

i love pillows period! i never have enough. my aunt had a feather bed and i loved it. if i could afford it id have one now. i did get a little worried and had to replace my pillow which i hated doing, because Oprah had a lady on one day that said you have to replace them because of germs from skin cells falling into them or whatever.

Hi nupats,
I used 3 pillows, one at my right side, the other one on the left side and the other is on my head. I cannot sleep nicely if i dont have 3 pillows. i dont know why, but it makes me feel that i am embraced.
thank you and have a wonderful day.

About two ones are enough, sometimes ,I like my feet on the pillows, which is so easy ,you could have a try!
The pillow for my head must be soft ,then I could sleep well!

Hi neeta. How r u doing? Hey just need to remind you that u said u would be uploading some of ur family snaps soon...
About using a pillow.. Well i m not into a habit of using more than one pillow. It actually depends on the pillow. Sometimes, i find the pillow too soft and too low, that i feel like taking another pillow to keep under my head for sleeping. Currently, i use 2 pillows to keep under my head before sleeping. Sometimes, i may go without taking any but its only under forced circumstances like when i am travlling in a train. But, otherwise i prefer to have atleast one.
I do feel pain when the height becomes too high and being a long necked person, my neck aches more. but when the height of the pillow is too low, i feel uncomfortable while sleeping.
I am not into a habit of taking my pillow along with me when i am travelling. or u can say i am too lazy to do so.. I am not so specific about using the same pillow but the thing is, it should suit my needs.. I prefer a pillow stuffed with cotton...

Hi
well i like to have two pillows under my head one of fibre and one of cotton, and i hug them when i am alone,
But i wonder why u and ur hubby hug pillow, if u start hugging each other then i am sure u will feel more comfortable and it will spare 2 pillow as well
I am not that crazy about my pillow, i can have any pillow
Take care

I sleep with four pillows, have for years. I like to hug them too. I never travel with mine though - too much risk of picking up bed bugs and bringing them back home! You just never know. The pillow for my head is a Tempurpedic orthopedic pillow that is conformed for my neck. I have bone spurs on my spine and need the support. The rest are just ordinary pillows.

LOL I don't feel so bad now! I have 4! 2 under my head, one under my knees and one to hug! The one to hug is the most important one and it has to be a soft, mushy one - where the foam inside is all shredded rather than one solid piece!

LOL...my "snuggle" pillow always goes with me too. My husband laughs at me for it, but I don't care - at least I can sleep!

How funny we use 6 pillows in the bed. I use three of them one to rest my head, two to hug, my wife uses one to rest her head and my son uses one to rest his head and one to hug. All the pillows we use are made of fibre as am allergic to cotton.

I sleep alone and I think there are 5 pillows on the bed. I sleep in a queen sized bed but really only use one side of it. I use a feather pillow, which I never used to like. I used to use foam pillows all the time but somewhere I acquired these 2 feather pillows and one of them I really like. I plump it up and it is the best one I have......and I can't even remember where it came from. Once in a while I will use the other one, but it isn't as fat as the other one so I don't like it as well. The other pillows are made of some kind of foam material and I rarely, if ever use them. I generally don't take them with me when I travel, not that I go anywhere, but I have a couple of trips coming up and just might take the one with me. But it is one more thing to carry.

this is something we usually end up arguing upon, I need a hard and firm cotton pillow and my husband a softer one. when there are guets at home it all gets so jumbled up, we end up tossing in the bed. without a proper pillow I cannot sleep, and it has to be my pillow, it cannot be substituted . I don't mind looking for my pillows in the middle of the night if the kids have taken by chance.
and oh this one is my husbands observation , he thinks those who sleeps with harder pillows end up with less IQ( as the blood supply is limted), he thinks he is more intelligent than me !!! so he insists my kids to sleep with no pillows at all or atleast a softer one. let me see how kids grow into. this IQ part still I don't beleive in that, he is simply making out of poor pillow :)

i can't sleep either without any pillow to hug aside from my husband. i can sleep without head pillow but not hugging pillow... i would rather sleep pillowless for my head but have a hugging pillow. I prefer cotton pillows it has a cool feeling. With any pillows i could hardly sleep. I have 3 pillows sometimes 4 on my bed hehehe
