Got hacked and lost all my research. / myLot

I spent 4 years working on my family tree and my husband's family tree, then last year, I got hacked and I lost everything. I have learned my lesson and Now back everything up. I am still trying to put all the peices back where they belong. I don't want this to happen to anybody else, so please back up your work...

whew that could have so depressing..after all the hardships that will end up that waay...just imagine myself typing on one of my blogs and suddenly somthing will come up that will erase my blog i will be mad or it will dfntly irritates me..what more on a 4 year work that just gone like wind???whew i will freak out i guess... i wodner would you redo the process again?i mean would you start your research again?

Unfortunately it erased my entire computer...

I have statred redoing my research again, but many of my sorces were from family members who have since passed away. So I have lost out on many of the wonderful stories that went with our history.

ohh that so sad to hear... you mean the entire system was hacked??wow that person is a good hacker!!or was it just a virus or worm that taken your computer that you kinds overlooked...coz worm eat up all system i guess..

So sorry to hear that. Good luck trying to redo your research. It can be a daunting task.
