Why are so many young people having babies? Do they honestly think they are ready? I mean, I am young, and would love to have a baby and start a family, but I barely have time for myself with school and work and i don't see how I could ever even think about having a child right now. What are these girls thinking?

What do you mean by young though? I had my first the day was 20 thats still classed as young but I was ready for having a family without a doubt. If you are talking about teenagers ie 13/14/15 etc then of course its too young but some of them know no better are too niave to actually think of the consequences without knowing the full circumstances to each girl its kind of hard to figuire out why.

Yes. I mean younger like for example Britney Spears 16 year old sister- Jaime Lynn Spears. Mariiage, let alone, a child, should be the main things on her mind at that age. No they don't think of the consequences and that's the problem. They DON'T think of it, so what ARE they thinking? I am curious because alot of my friends are getting pregnant between the ages of 16-20 and some don't even have boyfriend's which means no baby's daddy's.. and that doesnt even seem to matter to them.

Yeah, it does seem to be a growing epidemic in the world. There seems to be a lot of young people having children. I had my son, Andy at 35. I am not sure why some girls decide to start so early. There is a lot of peer pressure out there today. However, when I graduated from high school twenty two years ago, there were a few girls pregnant then. It has to be very hard for these young parents.
