with this situation i only have one advice:
meet halfway i mean if things are not doing good in terms of how much..as you said your partner keeps on asking for more even if you are giving what you think is sufficient there is only one thing to...signed an compromise agreement and have it notarized by attorney...the agreement will list all the things that your kid needs monthly and how much you should give..this will be fix until signed agreement that both party agree to have...
you may consult a lawyer on this...thnks for sharing

sorry to say but it sounded like a black mail to me and i know how that hurt you as a dad..
there are other thngs that you can do on this but bit painful as well...if you can, you may sue your xpartner in accordance to what she is saying and that she is taking your rights away to your kid...though she is the mom you have the an equal rights for the kid.
it may lead to a forced compromised agreement to avoid long court process or the process will proceed..and if this happen you may also would like to say to the judge that you are requesting that they will hold your partner in transferring to other cities..that will be prevented...
thnks..hope you well..
