How to Make a Website?

I am always wanted to have my own website but it is really complicated to do. Right now I am currently making some blog site as my first step in website making, most of them are still under construction. I am planning to have a my own website after I received my payout from money making online opportunities. What I want is a dynamic website which has a forum and other related features where in the visitors can interact to one another in real time. I heard from a friend that I have to use a CMS software to assist me in making a website. What really is CMS? What is the best open source CMS for SMF?

Hi shintongs, try looking into using Wordpress (www.wordpress.com) for a website, it's a great CMS (content management system/software) that is not only FREE, but really easy to use.
Remember that building a great website takes a lot of time and a lot of motivation. But keep at it and you'll be building quality websites in no time!

Yeah, I heard it also that wordpress has a good CMS. I already started to make my own blog there though I have to modify some of the settings there. Thanks for the encouragement. It's really hard for me because I do not have a background on web developing o any other computer-related things. I only do the internet surfing and use the world wide web for my research works, nothing else. I became interested in making website because I learned it's big income generating potential.
