Well I've never been to Barcelona, so for me it has to be Paris. I recently went there for the first time, only for 2 days, but I fell in love with the city and can't wait to go back! Hopefully for my year abroad at university (I study French and Spanish) I can go back to Paris for half the year and then maybe for the other half I will get to visit Barcelona and see if I like it as much!

Well Paris has the advantage of having one of the best universities in Europe, the Sorbonne, but Paris is quite an expensive city to live in. Renting a flat will be difficult because you will only get somewhere small that is relatively expensive. However, it is one of the prettiest cities in my opinion. Hope that helps, obviously I can't comment on Barcelona!

I have only ever been to Paris which was fab as it really is so romantic! Barcelona is supposed to be very good for bars and restaurants and so it has plenty for people to do in the evenings and the main street in Barcelona - The Ramblas is one very long street which is jam packed with places to just sit and people watch so good if you like that kind of thing!
They are probably both just as good as each other but for very different reasons so I say try both out and see! lol x
