We just bought a big old farmhouse-type house and I am thinking of putting a white tree in foyer with gold ornaments/trim.

we have a big beautiful white tree that we decorate with blue & silver. Our house looks like a winter wonderland during the holidays. we live in southern california, so its not easy trying to get that "white Christmas" kind of feeling.

I think they are tacky. I love real trees but I use an artificial one and I want it to look as close to a real one as possible. An all white tree does not look real at all.

I think white Christmas trees are pretty cool and can be a good change from the ordinary green tree. We're getting a new tree this year and I hope we decide to get a white tree.

yes we do have one, i put all my red and silver ornaments on it. It looks so nice. We also get a real one for the living room, we put all home made ornaments on that one.

depends on how much it snowed that day i have seen some that in the right location look very pretty. had one years ago and sorry to say that mine was not one of those trees it was not nice looking at all LOL! but i think if decorated right, it can be.

Anything other than a real tree is no Christmas tree to me. White, blue, gold, green...if it's plastic or some other synthetic material it's tacky. I couldn't imagine not having a real tree in my home. A big part of the holiday for me is picking out a tree and smelling it's sweet pine scent throughout the house.

Well here's a picture of a christmas tree. I am born of Hindu parents, and don't celebrate Christmas at home, but do have a ball when my Christian freinds invite me to Chritmas parties organized by them. I enjoy new years even more!
Happy Christmas all!

I thinck white Christmas trees are ugly. They just don't give off the christmas spirit that a real one does.

We have a white fiber optic tree. I like it! We don't like using live trees and prefer artificial. We got tired of the plain old green ones and wanted something different. It is different and very pretty!

It's definitely tacky. I mean, come on, have you ever seen a white tree LOL

not tacky, just difficult to clean up when the time comes to store it already. that's why we never chose a white one. so far, it has always been a green tree for us.

I have never had one and I am sorry to anyone that has, but I think they are tacky. I also don't like fuzzy, puffy garland or colored lights. I usually end up with one of the two though because my husband has a unfortunate love of tackiness and since I love him I give in :)

My little girl always used to want one right up until the day we'd go to get one then she'd change her mind and we'd get a real one.So we've never had one and I never had an inkling to get one beyond her wishes, lol.Still, they're pretty at the stores!

They can be very pretty it corretly decorated otherwise it looks really tacky and fake! I prefer the real looking trees! And if they wanted it to look like snow was on it...they could have made a real looking tree and put some type of snow like thing on top! That would be great!
