class reunions!

I think they would still recognize me hehe. Nothing much changed with me physically. Maybe the way I dress changed but nothing huge hehe. Plus thanks to social networks online my high school friends and I can still see each others pictures so nonetheless we know how each other looks like still.

I actually went to my 25th reunion last night. It was really nice to see most of the people. Even one girl who I think was the only person I really disliked through high school gave me a cheery 'hello!'. Some I could go another 25 years without seeing, but for the most part, it was great. I had more trouble recognizing the guys than the girls, mostly because there was a lot less hair, lol! As for me, I was told at least a dozen times that I still look the same! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!

My reunion has already passed and I did not go. In fact, I do not relaly plan to go. It's weird I am not one who likes to dwell in the past and I am not saying all people who go do, and maybe I will go to one in my lifetime. But on the recognition thing....people tell me even though I have changed...lost weight, hair color, etc. My face and smile and eyes are the same. Which is fine with me. Oh and another thing I have people occasionally coming up to me who I do not remember and I guess they have changed who remember me completely....kinda embarrassing so I always say "Hey you," and smile....and then rush home to look them up in the year book.....

I haven't bothered going to my high school reunions. Personally, I have better things to do than go watch a bunch of people get drunk, and that is exactly the sort of atmosphere that has prevailed at my class's reunions.
