over the past week or so I have been thinking of how safe=guarded are our computers or laptops...most of us are and work on other sites etc and have different passwords for them yet when we forget them we ask for our password it is then sent to us by email and tells us the exact password we had forgotten...my question now being NOT only do we have viruses hackers etc but now sites that can enter our databases and find out our passwords....what are your thoughts on this and do you have resolutions to this?

Hi littleowl, Now that has really got me thinking, the computer hackers are really clever so it is possible they could get our passwords and into our accounts. Well its a risk we are takeing, it a risk in everything we do these days, but I thought the security systems we have on our computers & Laptops would put a stop to all that? Bright Blessings Tamara XX

hi Tamara-you are right about the anti-virus etc ware we have on our computers etc but even so hackers even other sites can aslo get into your details if they are being scammed nothing is waterproof tight on the net but the anti viruses we all do have do manage to stop most things like that getting in-hackers are getting to clever nowadays though and can sometimes get through the systems-blessed be littleowl

I've never had any trouble with hackers on my computer. The most important thing I worry about is what if someone gets my debit card number from a site and uses it to clean out my account or something like that. Most the the sites where I use it encrypt the informtion to keep it safer, so hopefully it is fairly secure.

Hi circumfelt..I hope for your sake that it continues to be safe...I just don't trust letting my details out mainly cos there are so many more malicious hackers and viruses that can get into anyones computer unbeknowingly these days so we all have to be extra vigilant..bright blessings littleowl

I doubt that we will ever be totally safe from online attacks. We can safeguard all we want but there are people out there just waiting to attack us every chance they get. The economy is so bad right now, that is coming alot more common with these attacks.

Hi steph'-you are so right too about this its scary and there is no way I will buy anything online anymore after a bad virus got into mine and wiped my credit card clean-thankfully though that did get sorted out and I got refunded-but these attacks as you say are becoming more and more common and malicious

Nothing in the world can be absolutely safe or unsafe, there is a balance between safe and unsafe. If you are not VIP,who care what your password is.

Hi Amigula-the fact you do have access to the internet doesn't mean you aren't vulnerable to these things nowadays thes things can always in some way get into your computer
