I don't know how works on other countries but in Italy there are just trash news (like "o my god! this VIP got a new hat!", do you undestand???).
I don't see the TV....

I'm very much interested in current events. For one, it is out of necesity, since I believe that we should be informed about the things that are going on in this world. But secondly, and more importantly, I like it. At a very early age, about 14, I guess, I started to read the newspaper every day. So I'm not only pretty much up-to-date, but by now I can read between the lines, which I find is almost as important.

I'm interested in news, but i dun purposely wait to watch them.. MOst of the time i will only watch and hear the news when i chanced upon them, such as when i go to gyms, and normally they will be showing news channel.. ANd so i will watch abit to know what's going on now.. If not, most of the time, i will prefer to read the papers instead ^_^

I spend lots of time reading, watching the news. It's important to know what's going on in your local, state and national news.

Ya i am also the same thing. I will also listen the news and watch the live news on TV. I also hate politics. Nothing in that politics. Every politician will blame opposition party and try to get chair of PM or CM. I want real live news in the city, nation and in the world.
