Have you ever travelled alone to some other countries?

I will be traveling to Sweden alone in December, embarking for the United States. Though I do know someone from the internet there that I will stay with so I don't have to worry about ridiculous hotel expenses. They have come here before, so we do each other favors and are really great friends. I am so excited to experience Swedish culture at Christmas time :)

Yes, I really love to travel and have traveled in many different countries alone. I inter railed around Europe when I was 18. I met other travelers and had a very enjoyable as well as safe time. I went to Tunisia on my own but found the local men pestered me quite a lot. When I was 20 I went around the world. My sister came to Los Angeles with me, then I continued my journey and she went home. The second and third times I was in Los Angeles I was on my own. Despite arriving there at midnight because my train was late I stayed safe. I like to eat tropical fruit like passion fruit from Indonesia and macadamia nuts from Australia. I am an experienced traveler so it is a while since I have experienced any culture shocks. I would love to catch the Trans Siberian Railway from Moscow to Beijing. It would be so very interesting to go to China.

Dear friend, The only place where I have been is Nepal and it is a beautiful place with much of temples with those ancient Bhudda period. I do also like the people there and food I had not got a chance to experience it and more over I was not able to go taste as my time spend there were not much and as I was alone I thought not to make my stomach upset. The culture is mostly Bhudism and all together I liked the place and next time when I go I would spend much time tasting more of their culture and food.

I have never been out of the country, but I would love to (and hope to someday) travel the world. I live in Michigan and I've never even been to Cananda and it's just RIGHT THERE! haha
