...And it is one of the most natural and easiest thing for me!! Yes I never use a proper head pillow. I would rather take, if at all, a very flat, soft pillow meant for a baby. But I have to have a 2-3 pillows to support my legs. I cannot think of sleeping without those.

I have use a soft big fluffy pillow to rest my head. Well the image of a person being comfortable with the baby pillow sure makes me give the BR to that person.

It's an unthinkable and hardest thing for you? Just the opposite for me. I sleep without a Pillow Every night. I only need a Bolster to sleep. My pillow is beside the wall to prevent me from bumping into the wall while sleeping.

Is not the Bolster a long pillow?

Now I get a very clear picture of your sleeping pattern Poohgal.

My definition of pillow is something you rest your head on. My Bolster is for hugging, not for resting my head.

The only time I've eer slept without a pillow was whe I fell aleep in the car, on the odd log car ride. When I am at home I always sleep with a pillow

I think I can only recollect doing this once my friend, it wasn't a very nice experience, I had to sleep over at a so called friend's place because I had missed my train and he gave me the sofa, he didn't have any spare pillows, and he didn't have any cushions either, it was only a two seater sofa and I am 6 foot 2, so it was a very very unpleasant night's stay and I had neck ache for days afterwards, definitely not to be repeated. I actually have 3 pillows on my bed!

I have slept without a pillow many years ago when camping. It was the first and last time I camped. Tried to roll up a blanket but that didn't work. Actually I forgot to take a pillow. I will never do that again since I woke up with a stiff neck.

I just cannot sleep without a pillow or pillow like thing. Without a pillow, I will feel restless and cannot sleep. I will fold a sheet and substitute for pillow to sleep, if I cannot arrange a pillow.

Ok this is one thing I really cannot imagine doing. As it is, I sleep with at least 2 pillows every night, I really would not be able to sleep with just one or (heaven forbid) no pillow! I don't think it is very good for me to sleep with 2 pillows but it doesn't seem to have done me any harm yet, so I'll continue to do so :)

If it is OK for people like me to sleep with three pillows it definitely won't do any harm to sleep with a couple of them.

Me As A Kid - This is a picture of me. I was asleep in my baby bed. Though God knows, I was much too big to be in it.
I know what you mean about it being hard to sleep without a pillow. I have tried, but it is not entirely impossible. A hand can substitute a pillow just fine. And I have proof in this pictice taken of me as a child.

I have slept without a pillow but I had a blanket or a sweatshirt or something else curled up that I could place under my head as a blanket, or I never would have slept. The only other way would be sitting up on the couch or in a chair, which I can do very well. I was doing it tonight when my daughter and grandsons were here and ran her home!! Not such good company.

Sometimes when it is super hot I have to sleep without a pillow. But i usually like pillows just not really fluffy ones. I usually like the flat ones then i fold it in half. I know I am a little weird.
16 Jul 08
lol... I know what you mean... Once or twice maybe -- and it was just soooooo uncomfortable it was too difficult to sleep! :(

Well, I can't imagine myself sleeping without a pillow. I think I would not be able to sleep without it. Even with a pillow its difficult for me to sleep well if the pillow is to thick. I have difficulty sleeping so obviously I would not be able to sleep if I am not comfortable.

balasri hi no I could not sleepwithout my pillow, its small and just right to support my neck and I just scrunch it up into the most comfortable position and then fall asleep in comfort. I never sleep without my favorite pillow, its always right there handy.

Oh yes, a lot of times. Not because i wanted to but because i had no choice. This happened on some occassions when I had to sleep somewhere where there is no bed or other beddings either because I had to since i could not get a ride home or was stranded or maybe we overstayed at a party or just because me and friends decided to sleep overnight at another friend's house and there were not enough pillows. I love to sleep using at least two pillows but frankly I don't thinl sleeping without pillows is something very difficult to do
