Have read that we're supposed to eat 1st brush later but I've been trained to brush 1st then eat, so that's what I've been doing. It just tastes weird with the overnight residue in your mouth & teeth if you don't brush 1st, hahaWell, at least that's for me

i always eat first before brushing my teeth..'coz when i brush my teeth first it somehow alters the taste of the food..

For breakfast, it's EAT FIRST, then get ready for work.. THEN brush and go. I once brushed my teeth before I had my OJ in the morning!! OH... YUCHIE-POOOOO!!! That was one of the most awful taste combinations I had ever tasted! It taught me to eat first, leave some time for the mouth to "recover," THEN brush.

What do you think is more logical? Of course, eating before brushing. Simply because brushing was designed to clean our mouth and teeth and obviously, these two need cleaning after eating. Al though I think some people would do otherwise. But for me, eat first and brush later.

Brush first before eating for me. Sometimes I would drink large amount of water before brushing teeth in the morning cos it is said that there's lots of enzymes in our mouth especially in the morning after waking up. So I drink water before brushing teeth...not everyday but sometimes. Then I would go brush teeth and go take my lacto fiber drink and then drink more water..........no breakfast for me. I don't take breakfast.

Hi jinxky..
I brush my teeth before I go to sleep at night. Since, i was just sleeping and didn't eat anything all thru the night, I only gargle Listerine in the morning before I eat my breakfast..For me, it's useless to brush before you eat, that's silly..I brush after I eat my breakfast..

good day. It's always after eating or else food particles would remain in our teeth and would led to something awful at the end of the day.

I brush my teeth right after waking up in the morning. I don't like the feeling I get in my tongue after having slept for long hours. I prepare breakfast for a bit then brush and floss again after eating.

this is still a confusion in all of my 35 years on earth as it is often seen in tv's that after that last bite of breakfast everyone heads out the door. but common sense dictates that brushing is to eliminate bacteria so brushing first then eating is pretty useless because it's like showering before having a work out.
