Why can't resturants make good flavored iced tea?

Maybe it's because no one agrees on what is "good" flavored iced tea? I won't order iced tea of any kind in a restaurant because I can't stand lukewarm colored water! I like sweet tea with lots of ice, whether it's flavored or not. Most restaurants don't know how to make good tea of any kind.

hi ke7!! well i don't really expect special concoctions like flavored ice tea to be in regular restaurants. but we do enjoy different kinds of flavors of iced tea whenever we are in specialty coffee and tea shops. Of course, the drinks are a little pricey, but it is a price that you pay for the correct serving and the ambiance. hehe it is a nice way to end one's hectic day, enjoying a nice cup or glass (if you prefer it cold.) :) and yeah, they have honey to flavor the drinks, too. :) good day and God bless you!

Usually here Iced tea comes in powdered form and in different flavors. I think that they just tell you that they make it but in reality they do nothing to it and just charge you extra for bothering them. I suggest you find a restaurant whose specialty is really tea so that you could get your flavored iced tea.

I don't know but a place near me has lovely fruited iced tea which tastes like pinapple. I will count my blessings. What we can't get here though is decent iced chai latte.
