What is your criteria for a Lifetime Partner?

A friend and I were discussing about what kind of person we want to be a lifetime partner. So we agreed on some points:
1. We must have same faith.
2. We must share same interest.
3. We must be friends and have been together for a long time as friends.
4. Compatible with each other.
5. Can sustain long and nice conversations
We may sound ideal with these criteria but looking for a lifetime partner is a serious matter.

firstly a lifetime partner need to be a good friends of yours then he or she must be very understanding plus that person should be one who knows you more than yourself,cares alot about you ,waits for you ,adores every move of yours ,loves you the most .and last but not least you need to be the first priority in his/her life .that must be the essential qualities in my partner if im looking for one.have a nice day ...

I beg to differ with you here. Coz natures law says opposites attract and like repel. My partner and me are classic examples of the same. What I found is
1. You and your partner should have different interest coz then you get to enjoy what the other partner is doing. For example I love playing Chess and I taught my partner also to play. Now we both enjoy playing and get the time to talk too.
2. Both of you should have faith in each other.
3. Both of you should give each other room to do whatever they want to do.
4. You should and am saying that YOU REALLY SHOULD argue on things coz then atleast you reach a conclusion half way and that really helps you to get adjusted with you partner.

It really depends on the person. But when I said we are compatible, it doesn't mean that we are very alike and that we don't vary in opinions. I still believe on the notion that every human is unique. Means, difference is always there. But I agree with you in some ways.

I have found my liepartner, and he's everything I ever wanted i a man. He acepts me or who I am, he is inellegent, he is kind, and he believes in equal rights for all people.

what i look for in a guy
1. PATIENCE - i change my mind all the time. one minute im fine with this, the next one i want something else. well, he must be really patient to survive my tantrums.,
2. BRAIN - well hey, he doesnt have to be a super genius,. but i will be really impressed with someone who knows a lil math. i don't care if you'd tell me stuff bout philosophy or any sort of science because i dont even read any of that, it just wouldn't impress me.if your smart and u dont know it, well you'll still have me. just make me think..,
3. SENSE OF HUMOR - i have never dated a guy who is able to make me really laugh. i may laugh at ur silly jokes even when it aint funny, you know when im fakin. make me laugh and when you see tears right at d corners of my eyes, you'll know im ready to spend the rest of my life with you.,
4. INTEGRITY - ..nuff said.
5. EYES - yes,those darn eyes.i guess they're honest.
6. someone who wouldnt blow me off, just because his friends think im this/that,or just because they dont like me.
7. someone who would fight for me, for us...
8. someone who would fight for whatever he think is right.
9. someone who wouldnt be scared/shy to show the world what he feels for me.

Wonderfully defined. I agree with what you said. The sense of humor, patience, integrity. But what I said in my post. Those were the essentials of a lifetime partner to me.

The person i would love to be should have following qualities:
1. She must be adorable
2. She must be young
3. She must be rich
3. She must have expensive cars
4. She allows me to have relationships with other women
5. Last but not least, She die after marrying me and transfer all assets to me.
