High school

I loved that I wanted to get good grades in high school. I don't know about everyone else but in middles school it was the thing to get bad grades and get in trouble. But when I went to high school I wanted to get good grades and I cared about my studies.Even though I have been out of school for a few years(like 4) Do you think it was just the whole competition thing or what?

I was the same way. Middle school was all about goofing off, but in high school i worked so hard. my brother on the other hand continued to goof off with his buddies, barely passing classes. i think that for me it was being better than my brother. i also wanted to have my parents reward me with privileges that my brother didn't get.
