if someone came in your yard after dark and your dog bit them would you put your dog down or pat him on the head

Anyone my dog doesn't want in her home enough to bite them, I'm with her all the way. Animals have better instincts than us, Noo's a doberman and I trust her 100% she has looked after all of us for over 10 years now and I love her to absolute bits, she's my baby.

I agree but the problem here is that the county will put my dog in quarantine if she bites someone and often they just decide to put the dogs down. It's as if criminals have more rights than honest folks.

Pat him on the head, and give him a treat.....they shouldn't have been there. He's doing the "pack" instinct....protecting his family and property. Jerm

It depends on who she bit...someone i don't like, a pat on the head and doggy treat, someone i know, like a friend, then put her down. She fears me, but she fears no one else....
