So how is everybody coping with the over $4.00/gallon gasoline. What have you done that is different? Has it chnaged any driving routes or habits? Myself, I have only filled up my tank about four times this year. I am out of town on assignment and the company pays all of my gasoline, I consider this a pay raise in itself. Let me know how you are coping!!

This is nothing the ways its going we will have US$ 8 to pay for a gallon. The stupid Mr.Bush has gone and told Israel to prepare to go to war with Iran. It seems he has given the amberlight which means to prepare for the war. If that happens the whole world economy will be in trouble. We will be back to the days of Hitler. For the whims of one maniac "Mr.Bush" the whole world is suffering.

I was very surprised to see that you were from India. I was wondering what the rest of the world was thinking of our idiot president. I couldn't believe that the US president would encourage that war. But, honestly nothing that man does surprises me anymore. We are counting down the days until he is gone, but if McCain is elected it will be another 4 years of Bush since McCain is just like him.

Well what can we do but to limit the use of our car! The high price of gas is not tolerable for me, I feel like just converting my car's engine to other possible alternative and I wonder why the government is not doing something about 'water that can run car' invention that was published and taken up before.
It's good if my company just like you will also pay my gasoline, that would be great and very big help. You are very lucky my dear.

Good Idea, If we could run our cars on government B.S. we would have a plentiful and cheap supply. Politicians have been saying for years that we need to be energy independent, but look where we are now!!

We have done the usual cutting back on driving and whatnot. But, the increase of food prices is crazy and resulted me in using coupons to cope with that part of the increase. I hope that something will break soon because I believe that these prices will all continue to rise and throw the US into a depression.

Stressful & headache!!! Very high price of gasoline kills our economy & working hard to earn money only gives us too much stress.
Well to cope up with the issue, I make sure that we use the suv less so we can save a lot.

Hi I am in the UK and we have the same problem with high prices for petrol and diseal, although the price has come down a lot recently, the average price now is around £1.14 per ltr,at one time it was not far off £2 a ltr.I am retired so I dont use as much petrol as I did when I was working.I see by the news that yet another air line has colapsed owing to the high cost of fuel, who is next.Just as a matter of interest my wife and I have visited your country several times most of our trips have been to Las Vegas,We would like to do this again but now that I have got cancer I doubt weather this will be possable.Best of luck.Peter
