Empty perfume bottles - what do you do with them creatively?

I used to collect them and place them in my clothes closet, in between my bedsheets, clothes, and bath towels. I love the smell of the scent which lingers longer and I usually wouldn't throw the empty bottles away. Prefer them than the potpourris.
The smaller ones are easier to get tucked between the linens and clothes compared to the bigger bottles which occupied more space and heavier.
I find the smaller ones handy too when I go for short trips like during the weekends or staying overnight at friends' or parent's place. I would fill those bottles with lotions, face cleansers and once with my hair shampoo & conditioner.
What do you do with your empty perfume or cologne bottles? Do you discard them, recycle or have other better creative ideas?
Thank you for sharing.

That's a good way of reusing your perfume bottles, to act like potpouri and makes your clothes smells good.. hehe.. MAybe i should start to do that too.. lol ^_^
For me, i only used my empty bottles for display and i have set aside a section of my book shelf, to put all my empty perfume bottles.. hehe =D
And i think, i'm gonna follow your way by putting them in my wardrobe instead ^_^ hehe

Hie Kun, I believe you must have an interesting set of collections to have it displayed It certainly brings out the freshness and smell real great on my clothes. Hopefully not too fruity or flowery for you otherwise people will think......
Cheers and thank you for sharing.

Just like you, when they are first emptied, I'd place them in between undies - smell nice. Later when there is finally no more fragrance, I'd pour bath gel, hair shampoo or body lotion into the smaller bottles, and place them in the guest bedrooms. The bigger bottles, I'd throw away - can't think of anything to do with them.

Yes, they do certainly smell niceand colorful with those bath gelsI have come across in one of my trips, the variety shapes of big bottles are sold in craft markets, filled with massage oil and multicolored sand crafted into beautiful scenes of nature.
Cheers and thank you for sharing.
