Do you believe in reincarnation?

Reincarnation,literally " to be made flesh gain", is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of living being survives death to be reborn in a new body.
Belief in reincarnation is an ancient phenomenon. In eastern religions and traditions, Hinduism,Jainism,Sikhism,Buddhism and Taoism believes the reincarnation.
The overwhelming majority of mainstream Christian reject the notion of reincarnation, but a confusing fact is that some churches indirectly spread this kind of belief through teaching about death(Particular Judgement).
I don't know if this is true or not, but according to a documentary film of discovery series i saw this as a fact.
I'm a little confused about it.
So do you believe in reincarnation?

I dunno if it's true but i will choose to believe it ^_^ As we die, we won't know what will happen and what has happened.. Even we are reincarnated, we also won't know it as everything is being restart.. May be similiar, better or even worse than our past life, but we wun know it..
So i will rather choose to believe it and hope that my life remains the same or have a better life ^_^

Me too, i'll also try to believe this, partly because of my cultural background. I'm a Chinese and Chinese culture has also been influenced by the Buddhism, i remember when was young my grandmother always told me stories like reincarnation, cause and result.
But so far we haven't been able to fully understand this.

Scientifically speaking, I don't believe in reincarnation. But personally speaking, I hope it is exist. Most people in china believe in Buddhism, and the Buddha tell us people born for tribulation. So what sacrifice you made today is for you reincarnation and the nice new life. You can gain What you dreamed for and could not gained today from reincarnation by your action this life. All of us kown that is the jugglery to cheat the masses expend their energy on the beliver using by the ruler.
I hope it's exist because I want be a long man next life and be a good player in NBA.Yao is OK, of course;)

Yes, losing a family member is really sad somehow, i do agree with you that i do also hope that is reincarnation so that my grandpa would be back with me again.
Belief of reincarnation of Buddhism encourages people to contribute to the society so that when they are reborn they'll be in a good family with loving parents or something like that.If not, your next life is gonna be miserable.

I believe in knowing more about it and will come to a conclusion once I am convinced. Interestingly there is also scientific theory based on the study of "morphic fields" which is trying to explain why people may have experiences which they relate to thier past lives.
