My hubby really wants a rocket and I am so scarred about the whole thing. Not because they are fast but because I know thats why he wants it. I have a hard enough time contending the thought of him going to Iraq let alone getting on a rocket. I know speed is a man thing (and some women) but I just wnat him around forever like I said in our vows. Am I being petty? Should I let him get one because it makes him happy?I would love to be able to say I trust that you will be carefull, but I know him and when I ask him if he would be cautious he smiles the biggest smile ever. I know he wants a toy but I am scarred. What should I do?

lol at your comments:) I recently went through the same thing with my husband. Guess what? He got the darn bike! lol Im constantly bickering at him about being careful and everything else. We wouldnt do those things if we didnt love them though. Point is, you might as well give up the fight, if he wants the bike that bad, hes going to get it. Just pray really hard for him!

Don't ever try to treat your partner as a child, he is a mature man and can take care of himself. And even if u try to stop him from doing anything, he will crave for it more and may be in future he will just do it to please his ego.You can have a talk with him, tell him to go ahead with rocket and at the same time ask him to be care ful with it coz you are concerned 'bout his safety and if anything happens to him that will suffer the entire family. So, don't worry to much just let him do what he wants to.
