Why do most hospital prefer CS than natural birth?

Most hospitals prefer operating pregnant women(CS) for child delivery rather than natural birth these days,the reason for this is still hidden,though we all know that it pays more to perform cs than a woman delivering naturally but should it be done everytime for personal intrest?

C-section should only be used as a last resort. But ND's offer it too mch, becasue it costs more and they make more cash!
A woman should NEVER be offered major surgery for a natural process unless the infant or the mom are havig a true medical reason. Doing so, I feel, is malpractice. Contrary to popular..pregnancy is NOT an illness. It is a natural process that can eevn be done safely at home with other women around, if the MD says the pregnancy is uneventful and going as planned!

Hi, i am a doctor from india, cacutta. in my hospital ( R. G. Kar medical college and hospital), we do prefer normal delivery. As far as i know in india all hospital doctor prefer normal delivery because it less hazardous and economical too. tere are certain indication for caesarean delivery. and without that we do not perform CS in our hospital even the mother wants to. Its some doctor who run after money and some individuals who like CS because of less pain. In some case doctor forced to do CS because of request from pregnant family . and of some dishonest doctor do for money. But i am also attached to private nursing home and i have found there pregnant mother want CS as because of just to maintain their economical status in society
