lie or don't lie

Do you think in relationships when they say i don't want you to lie they really mean lie because they really don't want to hear the truth. I find that when you tell the truth it causes more problems that if you had told a lie true or untrue. how many of you find this to be the case?

It depends on the situation you are in. In order to save your life you can say lie but it is always better to say truth except on certain situations. If you feel saying lie can save some one from some body you can say lie.

It depends on person to person. I myself give 100% trust to any person. It's not just about your partner or love ones. Guy who loves me said that he never lie to me, not want to hurt and all but recently when I found something strange then he said 60:40 ratio. Means he never gave 100% truth.
