Do you think eating raw vegetables can eliminate diabetes mellitus

There have been rumors that eating raw food and vegetables would make your life loger sand probably the next cure for Diabetes Mellitus type 2. Is it true?

well diabetes type 2 is also called non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. and these form of diabetes there is not due to defect in insulin in your body or reduction of beta cells which secrets insulin in yor body. type 2 DM is mainly genetically pre-disposed disease probale cause are abnormailty in gluco-receptor on beta cells and so they (beta cells) response at a higher concentration of glucose and another cause is also reduced sensityvity peripheral tissue to insulin. as this is a purely depends on glucose concentration we wants to reduce glucose entry from food to our blood and that can be done by specific medicine like metformin, gliclazide, glimipride etc. and another way to controle this type of diabetes is by reducing dietary intake of glucose rich diet. and you know vegetables have cellulose as prime glucose and we human can not digest cellulose and as a result dietary glucose intake can be reduced if we take more and more vegetables for our diet. and in that way it can control diabetes mellitus type 2 thanks dr. malakar

mariechin oh my dont I wish I have had diabetes for years and I have ate a lotof raw veggies and fruit but no it did not cure 'my diabetes type2. There are a zillion different myths that are all supposed to cure diabetes but as yet none of them have done so. raw food and veggies helps us control our blood sugar and makes our bodies healthy but it does not cure our diabetes at all. that is another stupid myth that only does more harm. we need a variety of foods, veggies and fruit, lean meat like chicken and fish, lo fat dairy foods, and whole grains. We cannot exist on only raw stuff and veggies. dont listen to all these myths.

but you haven't tried doing it... Why not try it.. Research shows that it lowers blood glucose but haven't ried it for a long time research..

we cant say that because unless otherwise it comes directly from our backyard because of the new trend genetic engineering. the size and the quality may be improve but the consequence of each action are really fatal so i suggest it it preferred to eat a native veg's and fruits instead of trying new!!!
