What do you prefer Traditional Medicine or Modern Medicine?

hi, as a doctor of course i prefer modern medicine but absolutely do not ignor traditional medicine because our modern medical sciences is formed on the base of these traditional medicine and their experience. it is the traditional medicine for which we have been able to find newer improved medications

It depends. I would go for both. First I will seek modern treatment. But if there is no cure and very costly I will go for traditional medicine. I want to share with you a case where I took my friend to remove her bladder stone traditionally. A scan made by a private hospital confirmed that she has a bladder stone at her right and left kidney. The cost to remove it was RM30,000. She could not afford it. So I took her to traditional practitioner. He took out the stone and charged her for RM1,500.I know it's hard to believe because the stones were removed without an operation.

i would refer both medicine. we cant deny the fact that traditional medicine has been a big help to all of us. but in this new generation, we need to also move on, so modern medicine is also needed. combining both would be a better combination so that we will have a better medicines...but it depends to every situation we are into,,..hmm, as for me, both is the right choice...

Hi I believe in both traditional and modern medicine. Depending on the type of disease you can choose the mode of treatment. For example hepatitis can be easily cured by traditional herbal medicine but it is not that easy with modern medicine.

well i normally follow home remedies for my family only under severely aggrevated conditions i do go for allopathy..home remedies are normally very effective..too much of medicines is not good..

I think that we have much to learn from both traditional and modern medicine. I think that we are likely to get into trouble when either of these types of medicine thinks that they hold all the answers.

so long as it is effective, then it does not matter if its traditional or modern. heck, people even cling to faith healers when scientific medicine does not work. how am i to question any healing procedure, whether it be scientific or otherwise, if it works, right?

Actually i both prefer Traditional Medicine or Modern Medicine.But also it depends upon what kind of diesease i am infected with.
