At Christmas time do you have a real Christmas tree of a fake one? I always buy a real Christmas tree it's so pretty and I love the smell of pine!

I like both, but usually put up my white christmas tree. If I had access to pines on my land I would definitely cut one down and use it, but since I don't I just use the fake one.

christmas tree - This is a decorated Christmas tree.
I have a fake pre lighted tree the real trees make to big of a mess for me. I'm always sweeping up pine needles for months and months after.

The prelighted trees are pretty, a friend of mine puts up one of those and it really is a beautiful tree. Real trees can be messy but I think its worth it, I love the smell of a fresh Christmas tree! Thanks for your response:)

I like the real tree also but I never had one, it's always a fake one, I think it's easier to have a fake one and you can also re use it the next year. I don't really agree with chopping down all these trees for us to use it for a month and dump them.

I have always loved a real Christmas tree, but with my cats, I have to use a fake tree. Which it doesn't bother me to much. At Wal-Mart, I usually buy the room spray that smells like pine and spray on the tree. It works really well.

Yeah I have heard a lot of ppl say they don't have a real one because of their cats and they try and climb up it...lol. I'm lucky that way my cats don't bother the tree they never have thank God, but they do love to lay under it on the tree skirt...lol. Thanks for your response :)

Yeah, I have to agree a real tree feels more christmassy, the only thing I hate though is all those pine needles they get everywhere!

I've always grown up with a fake Christmas tree - my mother has bad allergies! A big benefit of having a fake one (aside from very little cleanup) is that we can just leave the lights on it all year long... take it out of the attick after Thanksgiving, fold down the branches, plug it in, and voila! Merry Christmas!

I love real ones for the smell and the way they just make you think of the holidays everytime you walk by them, however unless we celebrate at my parents this year we won't have a real one, but I do have a brand new, pre-light tree, so I'm still excited.: ) Decorating yes, gift giving, money spending, bah humbug...: (

I have seen the pre lit trees and they are very pretty. A friend of mine has one and I couldn't believe how much it looked like a real one. Thanks for your response :)

Ive got a fake one cause Ive got cats and they would climb a real one. I think a real one is prettier too and also love the smell.. With the fake one I need to use a spray to make it smell little like a real one :)

I like the fake ones better, I dont think the real ones look very good for some reason. Plus it's easier to manuoevre the fake ones lol cuz the branches bend and then stay there :)

Just like certain female attributes, trees are better real...but if you can't have the real thing, fake ain't all that bad.

there is nothing like the smell of a real tree. I always had a real one while my kids were at home. Now that they are grown I usually just put up an artificial one as it is less work.
