Should euthanizing be legalized in all states for dogs?

Do you think that dogs should be euthanized if they are a menace to everyone around them?
pros- Euthanizing of dogs pervents over-population and ensures the safety of people from dogs that may endanger the lives of people.
cons- Dogs that could get a good home would end up dying in a pound
Please give your views on this, I know that it is an ongoing debate and would like to know how people feel.

why kill a dog which you don't personally own? it is not a nice thing to do with God's creation. another thing, they are only pets not humans and they have no any knowledge of their actions right? i know i sounded a bit hurt and angry with this because i am an animal lover myself especially with dogs. everyone can have a good home especially when the owner of the dog takes good care of their own pet. as i have always believed that dogs don't harm a person when the dog itself received care and respect from the owner. euthanasia for dogs is a [/b]BIG NO NO FOR ME!!!![b]
We have to be fair not just with humans but also to creatures on earth. it wasn't their fault if they act harmful to other people. it is the owners fault themselves to be blamed for the dogs actions.
