Hi friends! I feel kinda jealous when some of you reply that you are sitting in your office and accessing Mylot. My office has strict internet usage rules, and only official websites can be accessed. Many commercial websites and email sites have been completely blocked in my office. And alas, mylot happens to be one of them. So, I sometimes when I am free in office, I feel very lonely and think that I could have atleast responded to a discussion at this free time. How many of you have such restrictions in your office and how many of you have felt the way I feel?

hi rajeshfgh...count me with you. Our office has blocked a lot of websites. Actually, we can only access two sites...thats merriam website and our companies website.
It sucks really, especially when things get really boring, I can't really do anything there. So what I do is, I bring a cross stitch with me...lol...cause that's my hobby and my sideline job as well. Or if not, I'll be just talking with my friend...

Yeah, I share this dread with you. There should be a separate machine have full-access, but only for people who have completed their work, what say?

In our office we have internet connection but is only installed into the secretary's computer as well as our manager's laptop.. We're not allowed to have internet access into our computer since it's the one we're using for work, we are apprentices of an architectural firm that's why we use autocad to input all drawings into an electronic file and it's a big risk to our company if our computer crashes and the files we are working on are on it, because we all have but because of what happened in the main office all of us has to suffer..
