Hey readers:Well, we all know about facebook (at least the younger generation) and we know that it has many capabilities, such as iewing and finding old friends, posting videos, comments, and even writing on others walls. It all seems fun, BUT have you ever thought about how facebook can affect relationships? Well if you have ever had a woman constantly asking you "Who is She?" or "Where do you know her from?" or maybe even "Do you still speak with her now?", you have dealt with some type of insecurity. I know because I had to go through this for 3 years!!! 3 years! Facebook basically ruined the relationship, but life goes on doesn't it. Let me know your thought on facebook and insecurities...for both men and women! Thanks you guys!

I do have a facebook account but i'm totally inactive there.
Initially, I did post some of my vacation photos and play some of the games there. However, after a while, I get tired of it. Now, I only log in when I receive notifications of 'new friend request' or 'Superpoke'.
I do not see much thrill in superpoking people actually but it seems my friends love doing that.

Hi cdb,
I have no facebook account and I guess like friendster and other site it's a healthy way of having more friends all over the globe.. And if you got more friends, the more you will be very confident and happy..but, as usual, one needs to be very careful since some might be a bad influence!
So, I can't see any reason for developing insecurity there...It depends on the person's attitude I guess!

Hi. Yes in fact facebook is pretty transparent in a way your friends could practically see the updates in your life. For example, your status, your information input and especially the wall chat and Photo uploads. The worst insecurity is the tagged photo. There is one of my woman friend whom have not disabled the tagged photo privacy feature. She has ugly and naughty pictures tagged by a friend. My friend got numerous comments on the pics and only realized it was some ugly and kinky pictures of her. Worst still, she did not realise the tagged could be seen by all of her friends and her boyfriend due to no privacy restriction. She basically had a big rows with her current boyfriend and they broke off eventually. Oh my, facebook disaster!
