Our christian [Catolic or protestant]church persecuted people in the middle ages because of their ideas creatin a state of confusion and violence. One of the great martirs of Science who was burned at the stake was Giordano Bruno by the Holly Inquisition of Rome. At that time they believed he was possesed by a demon. As recently as April 2004 some scientists discovered the first planet outside our solar system in the constellation of Hydra whiicho confirms one of Bruno's ascertions. Other ascertion was that the sun is a star and the earth travels around the sun. All these ideas were born in the middle ages and the christian church failed to defend the truth and the justice to those martirs. The pope asked for pardon before Galileo's tomb but nothing more. Those mertirs should be canonized as martirs by the church and Saints of Science...
