solution to all those getting angry when mylot automatically signs you out

hi roni! this what was exactly annoying me. i get idle for a few minutes and i'm automatically logged off! its annoying because there were times that i was responding to a discussion and commenting on a response but i had to leave the computer for a while, and when i got back and finished typing and hit the post response, an error would appear saying i can't put more than three emoticons (i didn't even use one) only to find out that i am signed off. so i had to sign in again and retype what i typed previously. i wonder why myLot made this change. i don't see the logic behind it. well, thanks for sharing your solution roni. i hope this really works.

I thought about that just a moment ago... i was automatically signed out because i had to attend to a phone call before finishing what i was typing... good thing everything i did was not erased when i logged in again... this is one of the new feature that i do not like... but i certainly love the new look of mylot... it seems more convenient for me...

really? I have not been signed so far under the new system. what i find a little inconvenient is that the bar at the side telling you about related discussions reveals less information, and sometimes i feel gives fewer links as well. which then limits one's scope of discussion. but other than that I'm liking the new pictures and the new top stuff. and the new response box which is much bigger! encourages me to write more somehow!

Well, the signing out process does not ever happen to me because when I signed up three days ago, I checked the remember me box. I know what the "remember-me-box" really do and I am doing that whenever I sign in to a certain websites. I am also using a mozilla firefox browser 3.0 where there is a password manager and the new "smart location bar" where I do not have to enter the full address of the site. I just type first or first two letters and firefox will automatically show the site address you were looking for. It is "smart" because it can remember the website addres and learn from it. You can also use a term, instead of typing the first or first two letters of the site address you want to visit. This is the reason why I do not find it hard to keep posting and responding to the discussions here in myLot.

The first thing is I was getting always being logged out of here on my old computer. I couldn't figure out what was going on. This was before Mylot changed their pages. So it wasn't that. Then I got a new computer and now the only time I get logged out is if I do it myself. The new layout of Mylot I really love. It is a lot easier to navigate. At least for me. I love what they have done to Mylot. It is a big improvement. Change in anything is always hard to adjust to. But for me the change in Mylot took nothing to adjust to. It is easier for me to roam around the site. I think the Mylot people did a excellent job of revamping the site.

Thanks for sharing. I do experienced that too. I just ignore it like it was part of the new look of my lot.At least now i know what to do. I think i will download Mozilla Firefox too. About the new look of my lot, it's very cool for me. I don't have difficulty using it.
