For the past days it's been reaining hard. i heard from the news that there is a tropicl storm located northeast of the Philippines. well what can we expect. it's already rainy season. are you ready for it. i hope so. i bet most of the students here are waiting for an announcement from the Dept. of Education that classes are canceled. i've been there. man that was the best announcement i heard when i was still studying. well that's how a student think so we really can't blame them. the sad thing is excessive rain showers can also cause multitude of problems. flash floods, stranded passesngers, property destroyed and the most trajic - deaths. well the Philippines has suffered from numerous typhoons. we're located in a tropical region, what can we expect. if it's rainy season, most of the time it will rain. no nation wants a natural disaster. we are not alone though. U.S. was also devastated from the class 5 typhoon Katrina and sad to say many did died. I saw from the news that China was also devastated from a typhoon that struck a few days ago. well rain is good for all of us. but sometimes it's a wake up call from mother nature that we are abusing her. i just hope that everyone is ok or at least prepared when this type of calamity hits our country. the only good side i see here is that no matter how hard we are struck, we are still standing. people around the world will offer and provide help volunatarily to other country affected which still shows that we care even for other people. well i hope that when it rain anywhere in the world, let's thank mother nature for the blessing and let's also hope that she won't get mad. happy mylotting everyone

yes that is really true with the typhoon. Well I think it really is the rainy season already and we have to deal with it. Although I work quite near I only ride to jeepney rides to reach my office this raining does have some discomfort going thru my work. Especially when you are caught in the middle of a strong rain while in transit. But well for as long as I don't get sick that's fine with me.

It is rainy season indeed. I was typing 2 hours ago and I dozed off... The cold weather is what I've been waiting for months now. And yeah, I was really happy when Dep. Ed (DECS) announces that there will be no classes. I can rest and I'll be safe. I can watch those early morning shows such as Alas 5 y media.
But kidding aside, this is the time when our country is starting to get hit by typhoons one by one. We've had 3 so far, 2 hit including the one today. Yes, I agree, whenever we are hit hard, we always come back up. It is just sad that in other parts of the country, when they are hit hard they really suffer a lot. Some die, and some lose their home and their livelihood. These disasters are one of the instances where we just actually set aside our misunderstandings and conflicts and help those in need. Just be safe everyone.

Hey I haven't even started yet. But I do go absent if I really need to. I did once during a typhoon in 2006. It was September I think. I can't get out of the house (whoooshooo!)

I just walk my kids to their school and they really love wearing raincoats. They even love wearing jackets with hoods on. It a good thing the rain in our place is not that heavy at least for now. You surely know how kids enjoy the rain. Their innocence, unmindful of the things happening around other places, well that for the parent to worry about. I just hope that this typhoon won't be such a wreck for we have so much already.

yes, it's really the start of rainy season, I find it quite good and bad as well. Good, because we have cold weather now and end of the very hot and humid temperature that we felt in the summer. As well as bad, because we know that many tropical storms will start to come in this season. It was quite disastrous and scary especially if it was a strong and super typhoon like "Frank", that cause multitude of problems. I just hope too that we will be alright despite any calamity that hits our country.

yeah, I also heard it that the classes was suspended and got floods to some areas, it was quite a bad news to hear. I just wished that the typhoon wasn't that strong. As for my avatar, actually, it was Tifa of FF7, yeah, hehe, really fan of Final Fantasy and my fave is FF7.

good day.. Guess I have a date with raincoat heheeh . It's cold and wet outside but it's also a good thing too, for we had a long and rather hot summer, it nice for a change. I just hope that this won't flood our roads and worsen our tropical diseases. Let's remind the children not to play in the flood water less they want to get sick or something.

The "ber" months are fast approaching, and yet, the rains have started coming early. I was like you, too when I was a student back then. Whenever there's heavy rain, I was already glued beside the radio, waiting for any announcement that there will be no classes.
It is indeed a dangerous season, too. A lot of people may end up without their homes, their livelihood or even tragically...their lives. I wish that the new typhoon is not that so devastating as Typhoon Frank was. The people who were hit the hardest by the latest typhoon has not yet recovered from the trauma they have suffered. It's hard to think that these people may be subjected again to another typhoon's wrath and destruction.
And yes, you're right. Human compassion are at its best especially when times like these happens.

Rains are good news to me. I have a small farm just waiting for the rains to come. Soon I will be able to plant my bananas and be on my way to supplying the local market with delicious lakatan bananas.

I still have kids going to school. The good thing for them is that their schools are just steps away from our rented house. For me I am through with that no class announcements during rainy days or storm comes. Most of the time, offices are excluded from that good for the students no class news. I prepared myself always, whether it's rainy or sunny whether. I drive my motorcycle everyday so I have always had my raincoat in the bag I always have. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

hey drive safely. make sure you always have your helmet on specially this rainy season. i once saw here in our street a couple riding a motorcycle which is actually very slow. the man driving was very careful because the street was muddy. still they went down. and what's more surprising is that they did not hit anything. it was so slippery they slipped sideways. so take care ok.

For this past days too it's been raining all day here in Baguio. The news says that there is no Signal announcement here but it has been raining hard, all my clothes are now wet because of the rain. What's bad is that College still has classes so we when to our school so wet, because we had to walk to school because we wanted to save money because of the recent increase in fare. The wind was also blowing everywhere so the rain got under our umbrellas. Well now it stopped raining time to wash clothes!
