why can we spend hours on youtube?

I used to ask the same question of MTV years ago. When I had guard duty in the Marine Corps, We would stay up late in the barracks watching MTV (off duty) and everytime a video would come on someone would say "Oh I hate this video"(or band or song) but they would sit there and watch it anyway. Partly because there was nothing much else to do. But i think part of it was that they never knew what was coming next. There was an element of anticipation to it. I think it's the same with YT. Although MTV eventually changed their format so much that I got bored with it around 1985. I don't think I will ever get bored with YT. You could watch all of MTV videos in about 4 hours. But You can't even keep up with YT videos that are released TODAY!!! One other thing about YT, It's interactive. Leaving comments is my favorite part.

In someway it is addicting, even me I am always browsing on that site and spending a lot of time on youtube. You know why? Youtube is one way of searching videos you wants to search even music videos of famous singers all over the world.

Some internet have no limits.And sometimes the tv program are boring.So we go to youtube and watch the video.I always watch korean programs in youtube.Sometimes i watch catoon programs.I think i am addicting on youtube.I should study more than watching video on youtube.

I have because I will get rapped up in all the old videos and songs that I forgot back in the early 90's it is fun to see how things have changed.

There are so many videos on YouTube that you can find pretty much anything you're searching for. It's a lot like Wikipedia. You can get caught on the site for hours at a time simply because there is so much to explore and find. You might get on there looking for one thing and end up watching 50 others. I do it all the time.
