Good Men & Women / Bad Men & Women

A few years back, 2002, on an AM radio station, former Philippine Senator Jovito Salonga said "The reason why evil still flourishes in our midst, is that good men and good women get sick and tired of being good, before bad men and bad women get sick and tired of being bad." It was on the radio show of Korina Sanchez/Ted Failon (famous TV anchors and radio personalities here).
It has been stuck in my mind until now and I've always believed in it. There are lots of circumstances like being good and getting trampled on by greedy people and sometimes they get pushed off their limits and fight back and even go with them. Greedy people not wanting to stop since they are enjoying what they're doing.
It may be true or not depending on where you are. Here, I'm pretty much sure it is. Do you believe it is so where you are? Would you like to share some instances? Take care guys!

We all have good and bad sides. I agree, when we get pushed to the limit sometimes, our bad sides kick in most of the time if uncontrolled.

i agree too. most of the time good people gets tired of being good even before bad people gets tired of being bad. its hard to be good when temptations are everywhere and when bad people do their best to bring you down. sometimes, bad people get envious of good people who tries to be decent every day. they would do their best to bring down these good people and sometimes would do bad things that would hurt the love ones of these good people. and that's the point that good people finds it difficult to stay good.
these bad people on the other hand, they don't care of anything but themselves. its easier to be bad because you don't consider anyone or anything but yourself only. its easier to bend rules than to follow them. i don't even know when a bad person can stop being bad. ^__^;;

Hey secretbear! How are you? Wow. That was perfectly said. I couldn't agree with you more. Even I feel the part and I do admit, I have tons of temptations around me. I really hate it but there's a very small part of me that crossed over to the other side. Luckily, I still have my good side and I think rational before I act. Sometimes it does happen, and it's a true test of character. Thanks again and take care!

yeah i believe it since i have seen nice people turn into total jerks after having put up with bad people or situations for so long..

That is so true Moon. Sad to say, it's easier to get the bad side out. It can easily be triggered. And yeah, those who turn bad tends to be badder than some who are. On the other hand, it is always difficult to persuade the other side to turn good. It really takes extra effort most of the time.
