New look and new format of mylot.

Hello deepak! I didn't know that when I joined here, it's the new format already. I never thought that I am the new generation here..hehehe..But well, I never saw the old format. Do you mind telling me what's the difference deepak?

Hello dpk262006, I'm not beenlong on Mylot and I was getting used to the format, then when it all changed I thought what is happening here, I thought I done something wrong so now I had to get used to this format. I hope they don,t go and change all again. I like it though. Tamarafireheart

I have to admit I did a double take when I first saw it. I wasn't expecting the site to look different. But so far I like it just fine. I am still finding everything, but I am fairly use to the new look.

yes its there. i initially like the layout and still so. i thought all the previous features are ok with it. But the main problem is that I think few features are removed. like now you can't see users by ratings and all.

It was a change, I don't think it added or took anything to the old one but it was just a different format. Some people are saying they prefer this, some prefer the other one. Personally I don't have any special preference. Both serve me well and are easy to navigate, that's all I need :) THe only thing that I am not too happy with is the scrolling that I have to do now, that didn't have to do before, but still that is not something that bothers me a lot. I am a web designer myself and I think that the new look is definitely an improvement on the old one. The use of tabs has simplified the interface and it is much easier to locate the different pages now. The old look was kind of "hand-made" while trying to be helpful in a situation where there were lots of constraints, web design-wise. The new layout makes better use of the pages' real estate. Hi deepak, I think this is good layout, may be in the beginning we may feel odd , but once we will get use to it, we will enjoy it. It did not make much difference to me as I am very flexible and can adjust easily with any kind of new situation or new layout.......Have a nice day.

I like it, but I find it hard to look for the posts of my referrals coz I like responding to their discussions.

Me, I am having a difficult time. I hope I will find another computer , because I think the mylot new setting is not applicable to my computer application. I don't know what to do now.

I like it and find it quite convenient.It is not complicated and everything is clear and simple.You are that we all were so used to the previous format that it came as a bit of surprise.But thankfully it is nice.It is only natural and obvious that human mind onece adjusted to as thing wants to stick to it for convenience sake.But change for the better is what life is all about and should be.

Hi dpj262006! I was taken by surprise too and was thinking at that time that my page did not open properly. haha..And when i learned from other discussions that it is indeed the new look, the new format that we will have to get used to. Yikes, my initial reaction is I don't like it and I missed the "Top users page". Then after three days of mylotting on a new format, I got the hang of it and I am quite comfortable with it now and I am sure that will truly like it in the next days to come. However, I still miss the old format. Take care and God Bless!

First time when saw this one I was totally confused...But now I am adjusted to this new format...Enjoying this new Mylot Layout...

I confused a little bit becos of the new format at first.But it becomes afterwards.

It's been a ew days ow and I'm just beginning to get used to it, but had they not changed it at all, there'd be nothing to get used to, and things would have been a lot more conenient o the visually impaired members such as myself.

I was surprised, too. I am also trying to adjust myself to the new format. At first, I had a hard time finding the new discussions page, but I will get used to this soon.

I was just getting ready to ask when did MyLot change and saw your post so decided to join it instead..lol. I kept saying to myself something is different and what happened to the side profile? It does seem more streamlined, but I'm been trying to figure out how to find the rest of my interests to start a discussion. Right now I only see a few. Other than that it doesn't seem too complicated.

Hi friend, Glad to see you again here.Firstly i also felt the same but now i am slowly used to it.For me this new layout is fine better than the previous one.Its looking to be very professional than the previous one.I think some quiet a while you would also be slowly adjusting with it. I think it is great but like you it took me a while to get used to. It took me ages to discover how to start a new discussion LOL, but once found everything think it is a brilliant new look. Ellie :D
