I was just watching telly and they annouced that Daniel Powter song "Bad day" has just been voted as the best song in the last five years. Although i do like the song i think there is better ones out there. If i chose i would go for "Hey there Delilah" by the Plain White T's with "Rockstar" by Nickleback coming a very close second. What would you choose as your best song in the last five years?.

Well, I disagree with that. I think James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" is the most popular song for me. I can still hear this song on the radio.

I also like that song as well. I haven't heard it for a long time. Thanks for your input.

Is there a song more filled with total sap? If you wanted to meet the girl, say something to her. I know it's just a song, but if it were real, it could have been totally avoided, which makes it annoying. It's just the way I think. Heard the album version of that song?

I don't know about that 'Bad Day' song. But I definitely agree with 'Hey There Delilah' being on this list. Personally, I would also choose 'Waiting On The World To Change' by John Mayer. His 2006 album is amazing.

Don't know the song or artist will have to look out for this one. Thanks for your reply.

Something about John Mayer always makes me feel carsick, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I don't really know why.

Here's one for you: All Again For You by We the Kings. They aren't necessarily popular, so there's no way it would win a vote, especially since it hasn't been released as a single. But all you asked for was the best song, and that would be my pick.

Thats what i wanted your own personal choice. As we all like different styles of music. Thanks for you response.

This is a hard one since I'm a bit disappointed in this decades music in general. I would say the Frays "Over My Head" followed by the Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood".
