No Edit or Modify link/button

Why are there no Edit or Modify link/button on the board? Couldn't there be one?
It's embarrassing to see that after you've posted your comment, you'll see that you have omitted a word in your haste to post your response. And your response suddenly doesn't have a meaning at all. And sometimes, it's too late before you see that you spelled some words wrong.
Couldn't we request for it? Or it is there already and I just don't know how to find and use it?

yes it is a very much accepted demand from mylot, there are huge chance to make mistake in spelling here and we need to edit that wrong thing but mylot does not give that opportunity and that hampering me very much like you. i do not like to see my post incomplete , but at this moment i do not know any solution but only we can request mylot authority to give us that right.

How then do we voice out our request? Is it enough that we discuss here on the boards and MyLot would pick it up from here?
Or is there a more formal way of requesting here?

yes there is a way . we should use contact form given here to direct contact them. i have done once and they gave me answer within 48 hours. well use contact form in toolbar below the mylot page to concern this matter to them and i am also going to do so

I guess, we all could use one. We really can't avoid having mistakes every now and then.
