it is said that boys are born with a closed fist and girls are born with their left hand cramped in a way that they are holding a credit card.It seems true in my case as i am a addicted to shopping whereas my brother finds it as a waste of money. what do you have to say?

This goes inline to what I have said in many discussions here in mylot and in real time conversations. You can not group all women in one group and all men in one group. I am a girl/woman and I hate to shop. I never have liked it and go to the store to buy grocery when I need to and it takes me forever to go clothes shopping. Now my mom and younger sister love to shop but not me. My brother likes to shop as well. My husband is the shopper between the two of us. He likes to roam stores and even likes to grocery shop so if i decide I don't want to go i give him a list on his way to work and on his way home the next morning he will stop at the store and pick up what I wrote plus if there were some good deals on some things that we use and were low on. So I personally think it is a myth that girls were born to shop.

well i am not saying that this applies to all girls but i read this thing in one magzine and thought of discussing it.It is nice to know that you you don't waste money on shopping but i think this statement applies to most of the girls though not all.

I dont agree with this. I'm a girl but i don't have the stamina to go in to the mall and shop for many hours for clothes. I just don't like shopping. I agree with your brother shopping is a waste of time and money. Of course i still buy groceries and my other needs. It can't be called shopping right.

Same here, I'm also addicted to shopping but I shop for important items and not just for the sake of getting all that attracts my eyes. I also look for good bargain and will not settle for very expensive ones. I make sure I look at the sale items first and if I find good sales then I'd buy them more than the new arrivals. It's not actually a waste of money! You are only wasting your money if you are buying items that is not needed and will not be of use.
