How do you get your salary?
Is it in form of a cheque written in your name or is it transferred to your bank account?

Hey there my friend! In all of the companies I've been to, it's usually transferred immediately to our ATM. The company provides us the ATM cards so it would be more seamless during payday. I really liked it since in my previous work, they are usually 4-8 hours earlier than the actual payday. It goes into the account the night before and we're on the night shift so some get theirs during the wee hours of the night.
It would be harder, I think, to have a check since most probably you'll get caught up with the queue at the bank. And there may be a possibility it won't clear immediately. I just hope my new job has the same process in giving out our pay. Take care!

well, i am working in a not so big company, just 200 something employees, and we get it in cash..during payday it is distributed to us in the office.. and i find it easier since if it is thru atm at times the line gets soooo long during payday. plus there isn't much salary to put in our atms hehehe..

I don't work outside my home. I suppose I would say that I get paid through here via paypal, so transferred from there manually by me to my bank account, and another site I visit I earn points, which I redeem for rewards such as gift cards. Those will be mailed to me.

Part of my salary gets deposited directly to my account while some of it is issued by check. Its doesn't really make much of the a difference because I just ask our messenger to bring my check (sealed in an envelope,of course)to the bank for deposit I seldom make withdrawals, I usually just issue my checks for payments to utility companies.

hi subha!
our salaries are paid in cash. the personnel department would prepare our payroll and the cashier would prepare the check for the total amount of all our salaries. then the cashier staff would encash the check from the bank, bring it to our office and divide it among us. they put our salaries inside a brown envelope and label it with our names.
with my previous work, our salaries were deposited straight in our bank accounts. although, we have the option to ask our finance officer to withdraw some money for us during payday.

Hi subha,
Two things first i ask you
1) How is your dad now, 2) Have you quit the existing company in which you were expecting for an increment?
ok, to this thread, it is just a direct credit to my bank account, where i have my account. I have an option in my office to get salary in cheque also.
Take care friend.

My paycheck is direct deposited into my checking account every two weeks. This makes it a lot easier to pay bills, and I don't have to worry if I can't make it in to deposit it, or lose it.
Every week, give or take a day, I have to make a stop into the bank to deposit my tips, and what's left of my mileage money.

Hi mayka. Our monthly pay usually will transfer directly to our bank account few days earlier before the end of the month. For festive season like Chinese New Year or Christmas we usually would get our salary two weeks earlier before the normal pay day.Cheers

Hi, subha.
I am not working at the moment. But i did work in the past. The salary was transferred to my banking account directly. The process was the same for my other previous employer too. I think this is the most convenient way for the employees as we do not need to go to the bank and bank in the money purposely.
Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I get my salary transferred to my bank account,i think the most of people are paid by this method,i had never seen that getting salary by cheque.I know that some company pay your salary by cash,i consider it's not safe for us,if your company has a blackheart and send your salary has a few of bogus currency.
