I don't use a great deal of either of them but I do use them. I make several different types of lotion depending on the time of year and which part of my body I plan on using them.
I don't use either of them in my face creams but stick to very light oils such Rice Bran oil, Jojoba or Olive Squalane. For body lotions in the Summer I will use some cocoa butter. It make the lotions light but rich enough to do a good job.
During the Winter months I use a combo of cocoa and shea for body lotion. It make a very rich creamy lotion that works very well for me.
But for year-round, I make a very thick cream for my feet. That's when I use a lot of shea. It keeps my feet in good shape, keeps the rough spots down to a minimum.

I have 3 websites, 2 for two of the bands I'm in and one for my jewelry designs but none yet for my lotions and cosmetics. Right now I just make them for me, my husband, a few friends and family members. They have all been bugging me to make them available to the public because my formulas are not like those already on the market. I make everything so that it won't irritate my very sensitive skin (which is why I started making them in the first place) but work as good or better than what's on the market. I have considered it, my biggest problem being financial and the other is space to work. There are so many legal ranglings involved and it's making things very difficult.

For some reason I have always been a huge fan of cocoa butter , and it was always around my house when growing up . very great to have around during the summer after you are outside all day . suppose i like it because it leaves my skin real soft and helps with markings on the skin , and even tones . it does much more for my body , and kinda leaves a nice glow.

Cocoa butter becuase the smell is so delicious and you seem to find it in more products. Lush have a lot of products with cocoa butter in, and there's also Palmer's Cocoa Butter which smells of chocolate and is just heavenly to use! I think shea butter is supposed to be more moisturising but doesn't have a much scent, and iknow you can use it in shampoo & conditiners too.

Dear friend,
I do like the smell of cocoa butter it much like a chocolate and rarely I use both. I do mostly use cheese butter. May be the milk butter. Both of these are great demand and rarely available in near by stores of our home. I had know that some use it as face creams too.
