I would like to know what everyone thinks of Twilight, the book and the movie. I read this book after finishing the Harry Potter series. The 2 should not be compared but I will say that I was much more engulfed in the story of Harry Potter. Twilight is pretty good though and I am excited to see it on the big screen.
My favorite character in Harry Potter is Hermoine and in Twilight it is Alice. I love the witty young women characters. Stephanie Meyers does a good job with the story for Twilight. I highly recommend it as a good read.

Twilight is about what? I heard that Pattinson who played Cedric on HP4 is one of the casts... tell me more about the film please. If its like HP, I would definitely watch it!

Although people keep comparing HP to Twilight they shouldn't. HP is about a world of wizards and muggles and Twilight is about the world of Vampires and humans. It took me a little while to get into Twilight but I eventually did. Stephenie Meyers creates a pretty interesting love story with some great twists. I'm a fan of the supernatural so I love wizards, witches, vamps, werewolves, and anything else not human...
The best source of info can be found on Stephenie Meyers' website and the official website of the Twilight movie. MTV also has constant updates on the Twilight Movie which will be released 12/12/08. And yes, Robert Pattinson plays on of the main character, Edward, the handsome vampire.

i love twilight and harry potter...im addicted reading twilight and now twilight will be going to be filmed..yeah,i agree that twilight is a good to read..i cant wait,i want to watch it..and hey..i don't know that hermione in harry potter will play as alice in twilight the movie?i just know that cedric in harry potter will play the male lead role in twilight as edward.

I'm absolutely in love with the Twilight series. Even as an adult, I frequently shop in the Teen section for good books to read. They're so much better than some of the stuff that was available when I was growing up! As a fan of anything vampire fiction, I can honestly say that I love SM's take on the mythology. It's a very creative and different way to explain it. I love all the vampire characters, Emmett being my personal fave...closely followed by Alice. If you haven't read the rest of the series, I highly recommend it. Also, another good source for info online is the Twilight Lexicon.

I didn't read eith of both books. But I did see both movies. I don't really into twilight than Harry Potter. Although Twilight is pretty romantic film.

I must say that both the movie and the book were great but the movie left way to much out while the bopok explained things much better.
number two is also a great book new moon.
i like twilight a little bit more than the harry potter series cause of the vampires.
although they could have chosen a diffrent actor to play dward.
he just did not fit the role quite right.
he did a good job but there are better actors for a vampire role.
well i still think that both series are good and that ms. jk rowling should make a new series for all of us to read.
