anyone have ferrets?

I used to have ferrets but both of them had been put down... was really upset, last year my boy ferret called yogi which was brown had been put down because of a common disease called renal disease i think, was looking up name and this year my girl ferret called tinkerbell she had same thing. I miss em though. we had them for like about 7-6 years about. I was really upset about this, the most common signs for ferrets to have renal disease is:- Depression and lethargy Ulcers in the mouth Weakness Increased drinking and urination Loss of weight and appetite Dehydration Anyone else have ferrets? and has this happened to your ferrets aswel?
