I have falled out with a customers today. He have been our customer for a long time and I have made friends with him.But he asked too much today, so I have to argue with him.I think my angry words have hurted his feeling for he did not call back when I phoned him.
Did you ever fall out with your customers? And what have you done after falling-out?

No, I have never had a fall-out with a customer. Because I don't know all the details of where you work and who the customer was, I can offer a few tips that might help. Talking on the phone:
The customer is always right.
Always remain calm.
If your customer is upset, agree with him. "If I were you, I would be upset as well. How can I help you?" Starting a conversation on a positive is a good idea.
If the confrontation was person to person-(not on the phone)
A good friend would call you back - it's unprofessional for someone not to call back. Don't try calling again, wait for your friend to call you.
Give it some time and see what happens.

When I worked at Arby's I never had a fall out with a customer even though there were a couple I wanted to cuss out, along with a couple of the people I worked with, but that is beside the point, and if I did have a fall out with a customer afterwards I would go somewhere to be alone,so I could calm down, and then when I was calm if the customer was still there I would try to have a civilized talk with him,and see if we could come to an understanding without yelling or arguing.
