I have falled out with a customers today. He have been our customer for a long time and I have made friends with him.But he asked too much today, so I have to argue with him.I think my angry words have hurted his feeling for he did not call back when I phoned him. Did you ever fall out with your customers? And what have you done after falling-out?

No, I have never had a fall-out with a customer. Because I don't know all the details of where you work and who the customer was, I can offer a few tips that might help. Talking on the phone: The customer is always right. Always remain calm. If your customer is upset, agree with him. "If I were you, I would be upset as well. How can I help you?" Starting a conversation on a positive is a good idea. If the confrontation was person to person-(not on the phone) A good friend would call you back - it's unprofessional for someone not to call back. Don't try calling again, wait for your friend to call you. Give it some time and see what happens.

I'm pleased you tried out my trick for settling down upset customers. You did an excellent job. Your company will appreciate your continued good customer service and maybe they'll give you a raise! You never know.

When I worked at Arby's I never had a fall out with a customer even though there were a couple I wanted to cuss out, along with a couple of the people I worked with, but that is beside the point, and if I did have a fall out with a customer afterwards I would go somewhere to be alone,so I could calm down, and then when I was calm if the customer was still there I would try to have a civilized talk with him,and see if we could come to an understanding without yelling or arguing.
